Kevin M. Parker
Vice President, Pre-Construction & Compliance
Kevin heads up the Estimating Department and assures estimates are developed, evaluated, and submitted in the most accurate, competitive, and professional manner. Kevin assists in managing relationships and providing competitive and detailed proposals that ultimately lead to satisfied customers and repeat business.
Kevin strives to provide excellent customer relations during the pre-construction phase by being proactive, professional, knowledgeable, organized, and honest. He believes that selling PMI’s competitive advantages to customers, winning bids, and executing projects are keys to profitability.
Kevin holds a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing from Chico State University. He recently completed the Advanced Leadership Institute Course at Babson College. He is an active participate in various MCAA Training (e.g., Advanced Leadership Institute, California Construction Law, Labor Estimating Institute, etc.). Additionally, he participates in ongoing association and industry-related professional development training.
Kevin is constantly working to utilize technology to add more efficiency to PMI’s estimating tasks. His experience has taught him that automated programs, actual data from bids/projects, metrics, and lesson-learned database items and associated streamline the estimating process.
The Personal Side
Kevin is married and has three boys. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking, freelance writing, and raising his kids. He volunteers as a youth soccer and baseball coach, as well as a referee and umpire. Kevin is also an active member of the Little League Board.
