Performance Mechanical, Incorporated, or PMI, as we like to say, started in 1985, as a small industrial construction company dedicated to providing quality union craftsmanship in Pittsburg, CA, servicing the San Francisco Bay area. We have grown over the last 26 years, but our commitment to quality and performance has never wavered. Our safety and employee training programs have far surpassed the standard requirements of the industry; and we have earned a reputation for providing the highest level of skilled workmanship and for completing projects on schedule.

PMI started out in the process piping systems and equipment installation areas of industrial construction. Today, we provide plant maintenance, building information modeling (BIM), vessel repair, ASME inspection, HVAC wet side piping, boiler installation and repairs, pipe fabrication, as well as our founding expertise in process piping systems and equipment installation, while servicing Los Angeles (Southern California), the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii. We are able to assume both the role of prime contractor or specialty subcontractor depending on client requirements.
