Tracy Peaker Plant, Tracy, CA

PMI performed BOP and electrical for the 315 MW GWF Tracy combined cycle power plant. Scope of work included installation of an Alstom steam turbine and generator, installation of balance of plant equipment, installation of large bore heavy wall chrome and carbon steel piping, fabrication and installation of small bore piping, misc. equipment (i.e. BFW pumps, condensate pumps, etc.), and erection of STG enclosure.

Work included approximately 5,600 feet of large bore pipe, 4,800 feet of small bore pipe, 3,811 diameter inches of shop fabrication, and 319 tons of structural steel. Electrical and insulation subcontracts were added to scope during the project.

PMI erected two Alstom heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) for the 315 MW GWF Tracy combined cycle power plant.

Scope of work included installation of the large bore heavy wall carbon steel and 9Chrome pipe, fabrication and installation of the small bore carbon steel and chrome pipe, field erection of 25 cell air-cooled condensers, and a dismantling of the existing stack, SCR, tempering fans, and a portion of the exhaust duct work.

Work in total included approximately 5,922 feet of large bore pipe, 10,112 feet of small bore pipe, 7,254 diameter inches of shop fabrication, 103 tons of structural steel, approximately 3,042 feet of large bore pipe, 1,320 feet of small bore pipe, 1,424 tons of structural steel, 107 tons of platforms, and 170 cubic feet of grout.
