What is quality?
Quality can be defined in several ways; we like to think of it as assurance and control. To us, you cannot have one without the other. QUALITY ASSURANCE is the management activities that determine quality policy, objectives, responsibilities, and the research and development of quality control. QUALITY CONTROL is the operational techniques and activities that are used to fulfill and verify requirements of quality assurance.

PMI has full-time in-house American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspectors (AWS/CWI), and American Petroleum Institute Inspectors (API 653 and API 570).
