Pacific Gas and Electric Power Plant, Antioch, CA
Gateway Generating Station Underground Piping Installation and Power Train Equipment
For this Bay Area California project, PMI provided underground piping installation for two combustion turbines, two HRSGs, one steam turbine, one air cooled condenser and associated facilities for the Gateway Generating Facility. The industrial construction scope of work included piping, storm drains, trench excavation, bedding, backfill, drop inlets, underground valves, fire hydrants, floor drains, manholes, and the management of trade labor, subcontractors and the project schedule.
We are also currently working on the installation and erection of two GE 7FA gas turbine generators, one GE D11 steam turbine generator and all GE accessories. The mechanical services scope of work includes loading, setting, and alignment of heavy haul items, installation of piping, pipe supports, in-line instruments, structural steel, platforms, enclosures, and the management of trade labor, subcontractors and the project schedule.
