Jonathan, in his role as North Coast General Manager for Performance Mechanical, Inc. (PMI), manages client relationships, jobsites, and the large teams of personnel that serve them. Not only does he coordinate jobsite scheduling and subcontractors, complete budget analyses and management, and oversee contract and change order negotiations, but also acts as the first point of contact for clients when they are seeking any problem resolution. Throughout everything that Jonathan does, he keeps safety along with quality control and quality assurance in the forefront of his mind and his decisions.
Expertise
Jonathan has more than 29 years of experience in the commercial and industrial construction industry, 24 years of which have been spent directly managing and estimating commercial and industrial construction projects. He has completed projects for clients such as Valero Benicia, Tesoro Refinery, Shell Chemical, Calpine, and Bechtel, among many others.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from California State University at Chico, Jonathan went on to attend Project Manager Training at Stanford University, Palo Alto; the Institute for Project Management and the Advanced Institute for Project Management (IPM and AIPM) at the University of Texas at Austin; and the Saddle Island Institute for Project Management in Oakland, CA. Jonathan also attended the Advance Leadership Institute (ALI) at Babson College.
For Jonathan, the training doesn’t stop outside of the university classroom. He continues to stay abreast of industry best practices through continuing certification and training courses, such as the MCAA's CPMCA, IPM, AIPM & ALI, from the Institute for Project Management, first aid and CPR training, defensive driver training, PMI's home grown Supervisor Training Program, Psychrometry and Refrigeration Piping through Carrier, and more.
Jonathan also holds memberships with the Western Counsel; MCAA; DISA, Inc.; and is a member of PMI's Company Safety Committee; and Company QC Committee.
